Summer -- Yuck

Lucy here ........ why has everyone been waiting on Summer? That's all I've heard from Mom, I can't wait till Summer. Well, I gotta tell you, it is HOT and I don't like HOT! You see, I'm a black dog and that Sun just is too much for me! I was in heaven today though, Mom got the Pool out! Sophie still wanted to run and play, but me ..... no, I'm just gonna lay in the pool!

Yes, we used to live in Vegas so I can definitely relate to the 100+ temps out there. Everyone always says but it is dry heat, not humid ..... I don't care ..... HOT is HOT in my book!

We ALL second the Yuck for Summer! Vegas is hot, hot, hot, it will reach over 100 this weekend and probably not come down until September. Neither of my two will bother with a kiddy pool, go figure. At least your two are smart :) Lucy is so adorable and she definitely knows how to stay cool!

I think dogs who lay in pools are SMART! Rosco is such a hot bodied dog...but he would never in a million years think to lay in a pool. We've had kiddie pools too....

This looks like tons and tons of Doodle fun, Lucy and Sophie. You are so lucky to have your own pool. I hope Mom gets our pool out soon. Murph and I aren't big fans of hot weather either. We love the AC vents...that's our favorite place to sleep.

Funny! My doods were doing the same thing this weekend! Except my apricot dood was laying in the pool and the black one was running around!
