Lucy and Sophie here! It's been a really busy, HOT summer and Mom was behind with her yard work. Can you believe that it is almost the end of July and she still hasn't brought in new Mulch for around the trees. We don't care so much about how it looks, but we do love to get a mouth full and spread it around all over the yard (hummmm, could be why she needs to remulch). Anyway, there are weeds, and some were getting pretty big, so we thought maybe, since it was probably our fault anyway that we would help Mom pull the weeds and then maybe she would bring in some new mulch. So, we got busy ... we have pulled the weeds, but still no mulch. We are hopeful though!

Hey Guys,
Pupcakes are yummy. My cousins, Welby and Pippi brought them to my mom's birthday. They even had sprinkles on them. MMMMMMM good. We could consult with Darwin's mom and she could help us make dozens and dozens. Whoopee! Or maybe she could make a doodle cake for mom's and dads like she did before. We will bring Graciedoodle to share Jack's tennis balls with him. She loves tennis balls more than anything and she is one of our very very best BFFs. We love her mom Nancie and give her kisses whenever we see her. Oh yea, we can bring Kona and Buddy from Las Vegas too, 'cause they are also our BFFs. I guess our mom and dad could just bring their RV and pick everyone up along the way from California.
Kisses,
Ned and Clancy

Well, I issued the original invite, so I think the party's here. You are both very welcome, we offer a tasty array of bugs, weeds, rabbits, and we also have tennis balls for those who are more interested in tearing up the grass than in helping their moms maintain the yard.

Are we invited too? Where is it? We never do a lick of work but we are good at creating a mess, surely that's important also. Besides, if we pulled weeds here we'd soon die of exhaustion. By this time of year there's not much else left.

Hi everybody it's Whopper here...can I come too? I have never had the opportunity to work in a yard but I already make a great supervisor. My buddy Harley was here visiting for a few days and I helped keep him in line. When he wasn't doing what he was supposed to be doing I got him back on track and my mom said I was a huge help. Maybe some of you with little brothers and sisters would like some help keeping them under control and that could be my job!

Wow this is shaping up to be some party! Whooo Hoooooo ....... I'm in. Lucy here. @Marley, you are right about the paleness of this party! We black doods gotta take charge! And hey there Ned and Clancy, you can come even if you don't bring pupcakes, but tell Mom we really love Pupcakes (haven't ever had any but we are pretty sure they are yummy). @Darwin, of course you can come too. Me and Sophie will pull the weeds and when we are done playing with them you can be in charge of eating them! We have to clean up our mess you know! Boy am I glad Mom is busy planning a different party so I get the computer all the time. She is busy workin on a 55th Anniversary party for Mamaw and Papaw. I'm not sure but I don't think we get to go. I'm not sure why, you guys all know we can be a lot of help!

Dear JD, Lucy, Sophie, Murph, Guinness, and Peri,
Can we party too?! Lizzie and I are are really good at cleaning out of the garage. Today, Daddy left the door open after grilling and we cleaned up a bottle of sunscreen and a pile of plastic cups! And if you have pesky birds, I can take care of those too! I showed mommy a really good one the other day and she made Daddy throw it over the fence! That's the thanks I get for my hard work hunting? Hmmphh.... And Lizzie is really good and digging out under decks. She makes nice and cool doggy hangouts.
Plus, being a black dood, I feel the party was looking a little too pale, right Lucy?
We work for bully sticks! Can't wait for my invite to come in that shiny box outside!
loves and wiggles, Marley

Dear Jack or Lucy or Sophie,
Can we come to the party too? We will be glad to guard the yards from the rabbits while you weed and Jack plays ball and Murph catches beetles and Callie shares her pine straw. And Lady Peri, well, she can join in wherever she wants cuz she it a pretty girl and many of our BFFs are pretty girls. Who else is comin' cause we will bring some pupcakes to share?
Ned and Clancy
Guinness, we smaller boys have to stick together too - Clancy bowled me over the other day and I even yelped!

Lucy and Sophie, I like to pull weeds too, but instead of throwing them away, I like to eat them. My mom thinks that is silly, and usually tries to stop me. (I think she is just jealous because I pull weeds better than her.) - Darwin
