There are so many of you to thank, all my new two and four legged friends for supporting Paz's victory.  He placed second and the 3 pets with the most votes win....so he is a winner.  I won't be formally notified until next week, but I believe the Mayor's Alliance is going to feature the three winners and their respective "stories" on their website and blog.  I'll keep you all posted.  Again you all are the best.  I feel so very connected to so many people I have never met in person, but know so much about.  Our doodles are truly amazing, and their capacity to unite so many diverse individuals truly exemplifies the wonder of the human/doodle connection!  Thank you all and I'll keep you posted.  

We're really excited because Paz (along with me) in his role as a therapy dog has been invited to attend the New York Crime Victim's Candlelight Vigil which is being held on April 22, during  National Crime Victim's Rights Week (April 22 - April 28).  The organizers of the New York City vigil felt the presence of a therapy dog at the vigil would help reduce the stress of of the victims both adults and children,  who will be attending the event. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Hi all, I just was formally notified that Paz is one of the winners and next week they are going to post his picture and story on the Mayor;s Alliance for NYC Animals website and blog.  I'm hoping to mention all our two and four legged amazing friends at DK.   In any event, winning has not gone to Paz's head....so to speak.  Actually, he has no idea he has won anything....still the same goofy, doodle with  uncoordinated long legs that go in different directions when he runs and who is highly motivated by lamb treats, dog park romps, belly rubs and chasing pigeons!  Again, thank you all so much and I'll send you the link when he is on the website.
