Thanks Mom!

Peri's perspective from last week (following the Tennessee flooding disaster - this is me trying to be funny!):

Sooo, Sunday (5/2) you, dad and Aunt Kristin were all stuck inside while it was raining. You were pacing back and forth, calling your human friends and crying. I was confused - so was Taquito!

Monday you took me to daycare and got me trimmed down for my summer cut. I like it. I feel super cute and cool now. But you picked me up at 1:30 - too early mom! I didn't get to play with my friends long enough, especially Rocco the corgi. Then you took me home and left with supplies. You came home tired and didn't pay a lot of attention to me!

The rest of the week I think Diddy was off work. He would leave all day and come back hot and tired - like he was working on something. He had been wearing a mask-I found it. Smelled weird. And his boots were muddy and smelly - he left them outside. Another weird thing!

You came home every day to walk me during lunch, but would then not come home until bedtime. It was a weird week. But diddy came home at a normal time and we would eat dinner together. Well, he had human food and I had my yummy Fromms.

So it was finally the weekend, but on Sunday I woke up with a cough because of the stress you put me through. Then I threw up over 30 times...on your rugs, at grandma and pops, everywhere! And now I am sick! Please make it normal again...please!!!!

Note from Mom: Lady Peri has kennel cough, is on meds and will be better soon! I am heading to the store but DH is going straight home after work and we are going to have a normal week! Here is a photo of Peri's new summer 'do. I know it's short, but I love it - she is so soft and I don't have to brush as often! YAY! Again, thanks to DK for being my place to vent lately. The support (not just dealing with my dood) is wonderful!

Dear Lady P. You look so "cute" in your new summer hair cut...I bet it feels good too....I have told my Mom that I want to have my hair cut short too, she told me she made an app't for my haircut next week, so I will look great too...Not that I am not one handsome dood, lol, but I will be even better...I am so sorry that you had such a bad week this week...I hope you are feeling better, and that things are getting back to normal at your home...Hugs to you and your Mom and your family....Oliver, your friend from Florida

I am sorry you are sick. My oldest brother has been sick too. The doc thought it was kennel cough because he had it before, but it wasn't and it just kept coming back for months. He is better now and I hope you are too.

Hi Lady Peri...Guinness and Murph want me to tell you that they think you look "way hot" in that new Summer "do". They are so sorry that you've had such a tough week...you must have been so confused. They hate changes to the routine too....how's a Doodle supposed to plan. They also want you to know how sorry they are that you're sick...they know exactly how you feel. That Kennel Cough is no fun. They understand how yucky it feels to keep throwing up....and how you're still hungry. Did you hear your Mom say..."maybe we shouldn't feed her because she's getting sick to her stomach"? Same thing here....Guinness & Murph kept trying to say "feed me, feed me". They were starving too. And, are you really thirsty...the boys are. They keep asking for more and more water....but then you know what comes next, right. They're been having "pee emergencies", and they really hate that! So, everyone here hopes that you get better FAST! The Irish brothers send their love.
