The Christmas Aftermath!

My daughter, her new husband, and their French Bulldog, Bonzai, came home to PA for the Christmas Holidays. Vern and Bonzai have become best friends. Fudge loves them both, but treats them like they are her annoying little brothers. My daughter says that Fudge is too smart for Vern and Bonzai and they just can't keep up with her smart games. She worded it a little differently. Vern and Bonzai prefer to wrestle and take turns pinning each other. Fudge jumps in from time to time to keep them both in line. Because it is so cold here and Bonzai hates the cold, they have been indoors quite a lot. Vern (80 pounds) has also rearranged a few pieces of furniture trying to fit into spaces that Bonzai (28 pounds) has no trouble squeezing through. He just does not seem to realize his size or space limitations. Refer above to what my daughter said. Anyway, we have been seeing a lot of this action.

That is exactly what happens here. Fudge will play, but she prefers it to be just two and not three. My daughter is on the list for another pup next year, so next Christmas I will have four dogs at home. Wow!

Too funny! I love how apparently uninterested Fudge is in the wrestling match.

It's interesting how quickly a group of dogs assume their individual roles.  When Sedona visits my daughter's dogs (Lucy - a Lab and Jack - a Yorkie), Lucy and Sedona are the wrestlers, while Jack acts as referee, constantly barking out his assessment of the situation!  :)

They were probably grumpy because Bonzai was napping and not attacking them :) They are going to miss him when he leaves tomorrow.
