The end of an era--Lyric is scheduled for spaying

Yup--she is retiring!!! Yeah!!! A job well done, Lyric! So many happy families! She has 26 pups and 2 families adopted 2 each from two different litters, so 24 happy families! (Including mine--we have Rio from her first litter born 1/1/11!)

Here are all the names-Rio, Rafi, Elvis, Zeus, Nigel, Daisy, Rosie, Uchu, Euclid, Jasper, Scotty, Frodo, Cooper, Cisco, Lucy, Rudy, Rigby, Nora, Zoe, Finley, Enso, Murphy, Memphis, Viola, Pesca and Sophie--PHEW!!! I did that from memory and now my head hurts....love them ALL!!!

Here are a few highlights of the past three years:

Here is Viola--our latest breeding girl and Uchu, from Lyric's second litter, born in September of 2011. He has a new human baby sister now.

Here is Sophie (formerly Saffron) born in Feb of 2013 and her new little brother Rigby--born in November of 2013...such a cute couple!

And this is Cooper (formerly Lucky) from the Feb 2013 litter---he looks so much like momma!

This is Nigel (formerly Sugar Donut from Lyric's first litter Jan 2011!) with his new little sister, Nora, born last November. LOVE this picture! Nora is THE BOSS in this relationship!

And of course Sweetie (they call her Lucy)--our other breeding girl--a real love of a pup and so pretty!

I got to see Frodo from her February 2013 litter yesterday--he was named Frosty as a baby. Here he is! Another Lyric look-alike!

And who could forget ENSO! OUR BIG green eyed boy from September of 2011!

I will be relieved when the spay is over--next Tuesday is the day--and after all that she has done, I want her to be happy and healthy again! 

And yes, it is so much fun to be in touch with all the families--there are 4 or 5 babies I see regularly but everyone else sends pics and updates--then there is one family I NEVER hear from even when I send little happy birthday messages--oh well! Can't win them all!

Oh Ginny, you just made my day with all these beautiful pictures!  Each and every Doodle is adorable and what a joy for you to be part of their lives.  Each picture is so special, but the one with the baby sister is precious. Uchu looks very protective over his new sister.  Thanks for sharing these pictures, totally awesome!
