Nearly a year later, I found the magic recipe for completely wearing Callie out!

6 hour trial day at a new doggie day care

4 mile walk (with lots of new dogs to meet and grass to sniff)

30 minutes of throwing the tennis ball down the stairs (sorry neighbors!)

Do the steps above in rapid succession. Let doodle get a good night's sleep. Follow up with a 30 minute morning walk and a 2 hour trip to the dog park. You should end up with a well-done dood who just wants to sleep, take a brief break from napping for dinner and a short walk, and then go to bed!

Allyson - that is SO funny! Callie was the same way! It was just insanely gorgeous down here this weekend...glad y'all were getting that too!

It was beautiful down south, wasn't it!???? We picked Peri up from a loooong weekend at daycare/boarding (she was worn out) - we then proceeded to take the pups for a 3 mile walk. Too pretty to stay inside. Just went home during lunch and Peri is exhausted - the dood is dead LOL.

It was SO beautiful yesterday! Doodle-wise, it was just me and Judi (and Callie and Timbow of course) at the park. A couple of my friends also brought their non-doods. There must have been 50 dogs there yesterday. I did meet a very unusual doodle walking at Memorial Park on Saturday though...she was all white with big brown splotches..,beautiful!

It was a beautiful day yesterday. I really hated that we couldn't make it. Hopefully the weather be as nice in two weeks.
Who all made to the park yesterday?

It was so nice to have a beautiful weekend (sunny and in the low 60s all weekend - I need a billion days like that!). Jane - the "tennis ball down the stairs" is Callie's all-time favorite indoor game (allowable one anyway...her real favorite would be counter surfing!). Linda - I was tired after the 4 mile walk and took a little nap myself!

Sounds like a really fun day! That's funny about the tennis ball. We do that with Guinness all the time, and he loves it!
