The Canine Calm (similar to the Travel Calm in Nancie & Gracie Doodle's blog Anxiety and Car Sickness") that I ordered came last week. Haley had his first chance to try it out on his thunderstorm anxiety yesterday. We had thunderstorms all around us in the afternoon and evenng. I applied the Canine Calm and it seemd to help him quite a bit. The only time he had a reaction to the thunder (except for lifting his head up off the floor or his pillow) was when one clap of thunder occurred extremely clost to the house; close enought to make the house shake big time! Then Haley crawled up in HD's lap at the kitchen table. When he got down he just went back to sleep. I did apply it to him three times over about a seven hour period of time.
I haven't had a chance to try it out on his car anxiety yet. Will post again when I find out if Canine Calm helps Haley with his car problems. (He love to ride and doesn't get sick just lunges at oncoming cars on two laned roads.)

That is good to hear that the products are working. I am curious to know how it works in cars for the Doodles who get car sick. Luckily for me, I don't have any issues with Gracie Doodle but feel for people who do. That is why I am curious. It is always nice to be able to help people and give them references when possible. Keep us posted!
Have you ever heard of the the thundershirt for dogs? It's based on the same concept of Temple Grandin's hug machine.
