I just wanted to warn you all that this storm that's coming your way is really fierce. We had 3 feet of snow on the weekend, but even though this is less snow it is much worse. The winds are awful, we can barely get our front door open because of them. If you have anything outside that can blow away, you might want to bring it in or tie it down. Stay home, keep warm, and be safe!

I'm not sure Joe, because it's been drifting so much. My best guess is 10 to 12 inches. Keep a close eye on Gus and Lily, they could easily disappear in all the white stuff!

Welcome back Michele. So how much did you all end up with? Down here in we were on the low end. Only got an additional 5" at my house.

Hi everyone, my internet went out yesterday so I'm just now seeing all the comments. It is sunny here today, but the winds are not supposed to diminish until tomorrow. It didn't slow down the pups though, they still went outside and romped around, though not for long. Joe, our local TV stations are the DC ones, I too thought it was weird that they preempted all the daytime programming..."breaking news, it's snowing" Duh.

I was so worried about all of you today! The winds here in GA were awful and I think they're moving your way again!!! We are thinking of all of you! Bundle up and cuddle with your doodles.

OMGoodness, thanks for the warning. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!!! We had 23 inches by mid day Sat. and it has been snowing ever since. We now have about another foot more now. Trees are falling, we have soooo much ice hanging from our gutters they are ready to fall down and I am afraid that we are going to have ice building up under our shingles and start to run down the wall inside. That has happened in the past, many years ago when we had snow like this. A lot of people without electric and not able to get out of their houses. Homeowners ins. here we come. No school in our area either since last thurs. BE SAFE EVERYONE

We had about 2 feet over the weekend, and now again about 12 inches.... I cleared my walk way this morning, but I can't tell I did that by now. It is totally covered again.... School is closed again tomorrow, so far we did not have school all this week.

Only difference Tammy is you all know how to deal with it. The DC area doesn't. Do all the local TV stations pre-empt their day time schedule to talk all day that it's snowing?

Here in York,PA we got about 22" over the weekend and now today we got more then 12". Now they want high winds!!! Oh boy!!!
