To Do or not to Do ?

So I'm surfing, not hanging ten, but planting two on the couch and well I stumble across this.  My first response is "Wow, I love it!" It's sleek, elegant and funky.  Then, I'm thinking, would this actually work on a doodle.  Zoe's hair is just about like this dog's and maybe if it grows out a bit more will work.  If it looks horrid, her hair will grow back before the spring shows.  But, [there's always a but] then I had way to many second thoughts........which always made me go back to if I don't like it, it'll grow back.  So I am asking you, my extended doodle family.  What say you?

She does look adorable, Kyoko.  Thanks for the photo,  I originally went to another Kyoko page then found yours.  What great photos you have of Charlie and Butter!

I'm still in debate to do or not to do, but I thik I will wait a bit.  The poodle's hair in the photo is longer while Zoe is still growing out of her last cut.  I wissh I found that photo back then.....ahhhhh hind sight..

Charlie looks like this one, without the toe shaved. I think she looks cute.

I never liked that poodle look at first, but long time ago, I saw a picute of doodle with his face shaved,  ( I think it was Jane, Sharlock & Noah ) and I loved it!!

a ridicules cut for a dood, I know it'll grow back, if if will

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and Zoe is your dog, so I think your call. I too prefer a more doodley look, but it will grow back if you find you don't like it.

Some people, Kyoko's Charlie comes to mind do shave their doodle's face. I prefer a doodly face, and I don't particularly like the bare feet, though but it's all a matter of taste. For sure the dogs don't care.

Are you asking about how we feel about you cutting Zoe's hair to look like a poodle? If you like it what does it matter? But I think a lot of our doodles would look like this if we cut them this way. My first thought is no more wet beards and muddy paws. :)
