Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Our Holly has fallen in love with Toby a rescue who is a poodle crossed with some unknown breed (possibly Maltese). He and Holly play together for hours and then spend quiet time together. Toby is a puppy (we guess about 10-months old) who weighs about 15 pounds.
We call him a pseudo-doodle because he looks like he could be Holly's son. He is well behaved, loving and well on his way to being house trained. If anyone is seeking a relatively small dog who has most Doodle characteristics, check our web site: www.americanmalteserscue.org.

Richard you run quite the rescue....I wish I lived close so I could come and visit your adorable babies!
That is just to cute for words - they both look like they are smiling!
Toby is adorable and makes a great hallf of a lovely pair with Holly. Lucky Sophie : )
Toby is adorable and looks very happy close to Holly! Richard, I stand in awe of you and your wife's rescue efforts! You two are amazing!
Nancy, that's a good idea. I can guarantee, the DRC will be happy to have Richard post a blog about Toby on the website!
He is just delicious! He's an honorary doodle in my book!
Laurie...
The good thing about rescue is that we have a chance to meet and be with so many wonderful dogs... The bad thing about rescue is that we can't keep all of our fosters! We have five Maltese as our permanent house dogs along Holly, our Goldendoodle, usually and 6-8 rescue dogs whom we are fostering...
We came very close to keeping Sophie, the Labradoodle we fostered last year. But, she went to a great home. The Chairman of the Board of Petco adopted her and she is living in an eight and a half million dollar home...
He is a gorgeous fellow who certainly deserves a great home. I hope once word gets out you will be fighting them off and he will get a wonderful home : )
Oh this little guy is just adorable. If DRC allows it I would post the discussion there also. I greet new members who are really looking for a 'mini' and Toby certainly fits the bill.
Wow, totally adorable -you will find him a great home, I am sure :)
