I get nervous nowadays on warm, but not hot, days when I park literally at the doorway of a store and have the dogs with me. I can run in and out in under 2 minutes and would leave if I couldn't. But I'm always afraid someone will call the police. But we do have to be aware of how hot cars left for more than a minute or two. Thanks for reminding us.

Thank you for posting. This is an important issue. The inside temp in a car can rise very quickly even if the windows are cracked and/or parked in the shade. We love our dogs and would not want anything to happen to them.
