Just two more weeks till Hero comes home.  Unfortunately, there are no new pictures, the breeder has been really busy lately and has not been able to update the pictures on their website.  I am sure Hero is getting bigger and handsomer.

We went out and bought some more toys yesterday, in anticipation of his arrival.  We also bought bells from Michael's and strung them on wires by the doors to get ready for potty training.

Time sure does move slowly, sometimes.

I can still remember the day I picked Jindi up, I was so excited. He is nearly 3 years old now. So take it all in & enjoy because it doesn't take long for them to grow up.

Oh the excitement! We used potty bells and took them out every half hour or more if they were sniffing the carpet-they are quick! We only had a couple accidents for each dog, they caught on to the bells very fast! GOOD LUCK!

Don't you just feel like you have just been wishing your whole summer away?  But it has been fun waiting, kind of like waiting for vacation, it will be here before you know it.  Two and half more weeks for us, so I know exactly how you feel!

How exciting.  What a handsome little guy.  Love the name 'Hero'...I can just imagine calling him...'Hero Here'!  LOL

I taught Rua to use bells also.  We have them attached to our front door (main level) and downstairs patio door.  We have a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs and she is only down there when one of us is downstairs.  If she is upstairs, though, and has to go potty, she'll ring the upstairs bell but we take her downstairs and out the patio to the backyard to go.  At first, though, we just took her out every hour and would ring the bells.  Eventually, we asked her to ring the bell before going out.  She always has to sit before going out (we have to put her leash on since our yard isn't fenced in).  I love them!
