So, time has flown and two pups left today and one more goes tomorrow! How did that happen so fast!

Of course, there is some prep work before they leave--a little trim, the nails clipped and the BATH!

Here are the two families with their pups--the boy with Frosty is 11 and has wanted a pup since he was a very small child--he was one happy kid!

Saffron (now Sophie) was the first to go, so she got the spa treatment the day before-

They are all nice and fluffy when they dry--here are Saffron and Frosty who is now Frodo and left a few hours later, after...

I love the name Frodo and I love how happy that little boy was to be getting his dog!

I'm a little sad that Frodo didn't come to me but if he had to go somewhere else, looks like he got the perfect family.  I agree, Laurie, it seems like the pups were just born a couple of weeks ago.....time sure did fly!

I have enjoyed reading Lyric's pregnancy and the puppies' birth and development. This puppy round has gone so fast!

I am amazed at the reports I am getting--no accidents! The puppies have all been crying when they have to go---when they can't find the paper in the tray, they cry and out the door they go! This new system I am using seems to really work--the paper they have been going potty on is in a big tray (a rabbit cage tray) and there are pine pellets underneath the paper to absorb the moisture. The pellets are on top of a big disposable pad that you buy to put on a bed (for incontinence). The pups all learned quickly to go into the tray to go potty and it seems like that has given them more of a need to go either in a tray or outside. Before with newspaper alone, they would often miss the paper and go on the floor--but these guys rarely missed the tray. So, maybe the housebreaking will be easier--I sure hope so, since two of these pups will be her for a while and I need to housebreak them!

Ginny, I'm kind of sad to see the puppies go, I really enjoy your pics. The new families do look really happy with their new little bundles. I hope we get to see them again. :>)

PS--Little Saffron (now Sophie) had only 1 accident her first day in her new home--she whines at the door to go out! And slept well in her crate from the beginning--hooo-ray!! Of course, it is the "honeymoon" period--next week, they will be wondering why they got a puppy.....

One more exit today--Lucky is now Cooper and is having a great first night with his new family. Janet and Ed have had many dogs over the years, but this is their first doodle--they are in for a treat! And they live just 10 minutes away, so Lucky, now Cooper, and I will be seeing each other again! YEAH!

It is bittersweet but since you may be breeding doodles yourself one day this may not be the last litter.
