The ever knowing (ie. know it all but I did not say that) DH came home yesterday and took Allie outside to do her business (yes this is a feat in itself. Last week he came home and did not let her out after being in the crate for a few hours and yes she did pee right in front of him..... hehehe). The back ground.... I mostly work from home and just go into the office for a little bit. During this time I put Allie in her crate. She is now six months old. So basically she is in her crate for no more than 3 - 4 hours a day.

DH comes home yesterday during the day and takes her out as stated above and then decides "she is not a bird in a cage" so he would just leave her in the kitchen until I come home...................

I come home to a floor filled and I do mean filled with two magazines and two important letters. Granted it was not the couch or a piece of antique furniture but oh my goodness I was so upset (not with Allie) because it was completely unnecessary. It did look like she must of had a great time. Needless to say I left it all for DH to pick up when he got home. O.K.................... now I feel much better just getting that off my chest.

Lorraine and Tammy I totally agree with you. I definitely think it is easier to train the dog than the DH.

Been there. Gracie is still not left in the house unattended! But maybe he learned something??????

I swear my kids were harder to train in how to train the dog than the dog was!
