WAGFEST 2012 - THE RESULTS

“The Dog Days of Summer – cute dog contest” was “doodles” of fun. The boys were revved up from the start. I brought out their new leashes (caught an “awesome” sale at PETCO) and they sat straight up…

Arrived at Olde Towne Pet Resort (Dulles, VA) around 12:30 – ish… DH was engrossed in some yard work, and lost track of time! When we got there – people and dogs were everywhere…

Dressed in our “Groovy Goldendoodle” t-shirts, we snagged a corner to take it all in and figure out what we wanted to do first…

Leo was quite the poser

“Two paws” up to Northern Virginia Magazine for a 1st rate “Doodle” afternoon. They (along with OTPR) provided:

• Agility Demo’s

• Obedience Training &

• Safety Seminars

But most of us just waited for the announcement of the “Top 10 Cutest Dogs”

I regret however that we did not make the “Top Ten” list..

 

Thank you so “doodly” much for your votes BOTH times. As always we made new acquaintances, saw old friends, and loved the whole “family outing” experience. The boys and I did pose for the “look alike” contest (not soliciting votes for this one – just thought we would take the photo)…

I am not proud – however – to tell you this but – Harley was a little “bitter” about his loss, he sulked the entire way home – heavy head on his visiting Uncle’s lap…

If you’re wondering how I got him out of his funk? I confess… I lied! I told him they were mailing his prize!

Cathy, Your boys are beautiful!!  So lie to them and tell them they both won tons of doodle toys and run to the pet store!
