I could kiss the inventor of this amazing gizmo.  I pray he becomes a gazillionaire.  After six months of feeling like a terrible pack leader, suddenly I was the dog whisperer.  No pulling, lunging, or stops.  From our first step out the front door, it felt like Shyla was floating alongside me.  Twice I looked to make sure she was still there!  Yahoo.  Please don't tell me it was all a dream.

Myla had the gentle leader as a baby-I want hr off the prong that DH insists on, I actually came across it last week and if it ever stops raining I will give her a trial run as our secret because walking 2 crazies is tii much. DH said her hair gets matted, it still fits her so we will give it a try. It is an amazing feeling hey?

Has anyone that did NOT have success with the Gentle Leader version of this FOUND success with this one?

 

The gentle leader version doesn't phase Lucy and Sophie at all.  I'm wondering if this one would work any better on them.  They are currently on the Gentle Leader Head Harness.

They have one very similar at PetSmart - you could try one on her.

I am going to order one and give it a try. Vern is like a horse, so I will let you know. I am afraid to order one for Fudge because based on her weight, she is only a small, but she is a tall dog.

I have an Easy Walk - these harnesses are fantastic! I was doubtful at first, but instantly Cooper walked much nicer!

Everyone I know absolutely raves about this harness, my Granddog Lily (a boxer) is a big puller and she uses one. Just yesterday my neighbors and their dog Bailey (a Puggle) stopped to talk and the first thing he said to me was "notice Bailey isn't pulling?" she was wearing the Gentle Leader.

I think I am going to have to invest in one at the very least for when my Mother doodle sits for me.

Yay, I have the Easy Walk Harness which is basically the same thing. It's so wonderful to have a loose leash when you really need it!

It works like the Gentle Lead Harness. For us, the GLH is better since my girls need their harness with more ways to adjust the fit. Samantha has a big barrel chest and her neck is narrower. Charli on the other hand, is skinny but long. It also less expensive, I paid $25.00 at PetSmart.

Which ever one you get, the concept is to have fun with our doodles!!!

Which was a Life saver for me with my last dog...I put it on her & she had a loose lead instantly
