Want another Doodle!

So I want another doodle! DH says one is enough. I want to convince him it is better to have two. Trying to come up with a list of all the reasons it is better. He loves and is so wonderful with the one we have. Still thinks one is enough. What to do! What to do!

Maybe I should just let my DH answer this as he is trying to convince me to get #3 (all because he thinks because I want #3 I should have #3). However, I know that 3 would upset the apple cart as I like to say! 2 is perfect. One for each of us. It isn't uncommon in our home in the evenings to hear the words (I've got a doodle and I've got a doodle too). That means one of the girls has jumped up and is sitting with one of us and the other is sitting with the other.) It is always sad when only one of us has a doodle. When we walk them, we each have one to walk. When we work on training we each have one to train. It was better going to training classes because one of us wasn't sitting there with no dog (keep in mind we got ours at the same time). It just really works out well for us having 2. When he retires we will be doing therapy visit together, each of us will have a dog! It is wonderful, but remember it is double the pleasure, but also double the work and expense.

We lost our ND dog of 12y last April....I have been begging for another dog since about June.I almost had DH Ok with being a foster for DCR or IDOG...then My Brother said Yeah,like that dog would ever leave! Did I mention how annoying my Lil Brother is?! Now, DH says If you have a baby (we do not have children) you can have another Doodle...knowing that if we have a baby there is no way I am going to want another dog. We are at an impasse.

Me too and Sophie has only been here two weeks. There was a local ad for a puppy - oooh - I'm so tempted.
