Welcome Home!

[Eva (Lilo and Rocky)]

I went to Atlanta for my PhD residency and was gone 4 days. Got home v. late Sunday night; everyone was asleep but the dogs started barking when they heard me come through the garage. I called for them and they both came running down the stairs and attacked me with kisses and jumping and dancing with excitement. Rocky was besides himself and cried and cried. Lilo ran around in circles and brought me shoes, toys and anything else she could pick up. They finally both settled down and let me rub their bellies. Couldn't have asked for a better welcome home :D Whoever says dogs don't have feelings are crazy !!!

I know what you mean Eva. I'm a firefighter who works 24 to 48 hour shifts and I get that type of welcome sometimes. It's great isn't it?
