What Would I do Without my Peri???

I have been MIA lately....sick as a dog (is that a good term to use, really??)!

 

Anyway, I think last night was the worst. My cold was terrible and I was just crying in bed. Could not get comfortable.  DH said he was going to the couch to sleep and that made me more upset :( 

 

Just as I was at my wit's end and thought I would be up all night, Peri jumped onto the bed and got RIGHT next to my head and licked me.  I started petting her and fell asleep within minutes (according to DH). He came to bed and she moved down so he could sleep in her spot. 

 

She did her job.  Comforted her mama.  She is my therapy dood :) 

 

What would we do without these wonderful doodles??????

AWW, how sweet. I have had a sick day in bed as well and my Murphy has been with me all day. Bella is still a little too young to just lay around all day, but she pops in for tons of wet doodle kisses. I know that is why I am feeling better already!

That is sooooooo sweet - they just have this sense don't they?  They always know what to do to make you feel better.  I really hope you start feeling better, that is just miserable :-(  {{{HUGS to Lady Peri!}}}} (Not you I don't want cooties LOL LOL  JK)

Dogs make such good nurses.  They are so comforting and intuitive about what you need.  There is a really bad cold going around my area too.  Hope you feel better soon.
