When Daddy's Away the Doods will PLAY!

Hey doods! R&B here TGIF!! So DD is out of town and so we have to watch DM all on our own! After spending the whole day sleeping while she worked from home, except the one time she got on a conference call, we thought we needed to participate too! Well, we must have not been that bad cuz she took us to the PET STORE! She said we needed some new treats for our upcoming training, and since we miss daddy so much we must need a couple of new toys, a ball for me (R), and a furry blue squeaky monster for me (B). Plus she bought us antlers, she heard SOMEWHERE that doods really like them. So we got home and then she took us to the park, things were pretty quiet so she let us off leash to play ball. Two throws in we saw a kitty across the street, so we just had to go say HI!! I guess mom doesn't like kitties like we do because then our leashes were snapped back on and we had to go back home. We really dont' think she liked that kitty because she kept talking about we need to not run off, and the word COME and TREAT means get your &*%! back here. So we were pretty tired again when we got home so we took a nap. But we just woke up and even though she bought us each and antler we decided we wanted the same one and ran all over the house SHARING it. Now we have moved on to SHARING the furry blue monster. We may do this all night!! It's so fun when daddy isn't home!

Since I am an "only child" it doesn't matter much if one of my parents is gone. Each does different things with me but since my DD goes to work every day I do sit in the window around the same time every night waiting for him to drive up the hill. I have my nightly routine with him. So I guess I probably would miss him more. Plus, he doesn't make me heel when we walk and lets me bring in my muddy wet ball when we are done playing. He does wash my feet but I get to come in with wet ones!!! My mommy is always yelling about those &*%#@! wet balls on the carpet! One thing my DD taught me though was the word "kitty"!! Just say the word and I am running everywhere looking for one. My parents had to send their kitty up to live with Grandma when they brought me home. I love chasing kitties!!!!! Hey, Ned and Clancy...your Mom needs tons of help since you are a 4 dog family. No way can your DD leave her alone!!!!

Hi there Rosey & Bandit! It sure sounds like you're having a great time with your DD away. We're like Ned and Clancy....our Dad almost never goes anywhere. Murph and I like to "share" the same way you do. We ALWAYS want the same toys too. We usually play "tug" even with things that aren't supposed to be "tugged". HA HA! We've never even seen a kitty, but if we do I have a feeling we'll chase after it and BARK as loud as we can. Keep having fun R & B...when is DD coming back? He's probably missing you a lot, so you'll get plenty of treats and stuff when he comes home. Your buddy, Guinness.

R & B it sounds like your having a great time, You should come to my house I have 2 kitties I like to chase, it is so much fun ;-) I like when my daddy goes away too, I get to sleep in bed with my mom and I get lots of belly rubs. Wow, it sounds like you guys are really having a good time while your dad's out of town! I think your mom probably likes it better when he's home, though. You doods should probably let her get a lot of sleep tonight so she'll be ready to have lots of fun with you tomorrow!

We hope my daddy will leave soon so we can have so much fun. He never goes anywhere.....
