You know you love your doodle when -

You're running out the door and blow a kiss and say 'I love you Baby!' and you hear your husband and daughter both yelling 'I love you too!' and only you know that you were talking to your doodle!

Your driving in the car and every air conditioner vent is blowing on your dog and none on you.

You can be in the most uncomfortable position in bed but feel bad moving your dog so you vpcan at least stretch out.

You assume when you are invited somewhere that your dog is included and actually wonder why his name is not on the invitation too.

Your dog has better food and snacks then you have for yourself.

You skip buying some of your medications but never skip even one thing when it comes to your gut baby.

You have no problem sitting in the screened in porch where all your neighbors can here and you have full conversations with your dog telling them how they are the best thing ever I. The world.

You call and talk to them on speaker phone and whe. You are done hang up without saying good bye to the person watching your fur baby

You skip your dental cleaning to,save up for your dogs.
you gladly give up getti g your roots done so your baby can get groomed.

You change your entire sleep schedule so you can get walks in when it is cooler out....

Ohhhhh, so right!  I always say hello and goodbye to the dogs, but to the people - not always.

LOL....I am always saying to one of my dogs, "you are my favorite in the whole world," and then look up to see my DH or DD looking at me :)

Funny, but oh so true.  I do that every day.  Why is it so easy to say I love you to someone who can never say it back to  you....but you really don't care because you know they do... without ever hearing it.

@Nicky... you are absolutely right to blame your partner for leaving the door open and not the dog for chewing your new shoes. This makes total sense to me!

Oh, this sounds familiar!!! LOL! It has become a joke at our house now! When DH leaves with Tara I say "Bye, sweetie, I love you! I'm going to miss you tooooo much!"  Then I turn to DH and say in a very bland voice " You too honey".  He just shakes his head and laughs.
