Profile Information

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: My husband and I are proud parents of a F1 medium goldendoodle (Ollie).

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I grew up with a poodle mix (pekingese x poodle = pekapoo). She was an adorable and very smart little lap dog that did not shed at all.

My husband and I wanted a medium size dog. I researched different breeds but I kept coming back to poodle mixes. A co-worker got a goldendoodle and mentioned what a great dog he was. I began researching goldendoodles, and I was hooked!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Cuddle, play fetch, go to the dog park and go for walks.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Ollie goes to the groomer (Canine Design) about every 3 months.

Relationship Status:: Married

I found him on petfinder.com. We decided to get a second one to play with our first one and it is hands down the best thing we could have done. Xena really settled down and stopped eating our boys when she had another dog to play with. I swear, she became a different dog overnight. It is so much fun to watch them play together AND when we aren't home they have each other. The only downside is when I have to walk both of them by myself. Together they weigh just under 120lbs and that's a lot of dog to manage. I would highly recomend getting a second if you are up for the extra work!
