About Me:: I currently work as an ESL instructor and tutor. I spent 2007-2009 as an English Teaching Assistant in Alcobendas, Spain. I now work at Centenary College as an adjunct instructor and tutor. My goal is to go to graduate school in the near future for a Masters in TESOL for PreK-12. Barley is my first puppy that I've raised on my own. What a blessing!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: My family has two goldendoodles. Daisy Mae is three years old. She was actually my parents' dog, but they recently gave her to me.. My puppy Barley Barker was born on November 17, 2009. He's such a good, sweet boy! We also have a St. Bernard/Great White Pyrenees mix and a St. Bernard puppy. Plus three cats, and a plethora of donkeys, goats, chickens, and one miniature horse.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: My parents already had a goldendoodle, Daisy Mae, who bonded with me the most even though I did not live with my parents. (She has since been given to me.) She's so playful, and sleeps on my bed at night. I'm not allergic to her and she doesn't shed. I'm currently living with my parents since I recently returned from living in Europe. The economy is not great right now and I'm saving money for grad school. I encountered my own doodle in February at The Yuppie Puppy in PA. I hadn't planned on getting a puppy and I'm wary of pet stores. I went home without him but I returned the next day.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Playing Frisbee! Daisy Mae is obsessed with that game and Barley is equally obsessed with fetching things, often dropping balls and toys on my laptop while I work. Barley has a strange obsession with pink pigs and will always choose a pink pig toy when we go to PetSmart or other stores. I think Barley's favorite thing to do with me is getting his belly rubbed.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I now get both Daisy Mae and Barley clipped short. We got to a groomer about 30 minuts away.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Kong toys, Dr. Fosters and Smith Orthopedic Dog Bed

You'll really enjoy the Photography group. It's very friendly/supportive. The moderator F Parker is great. I started an Art Cafe group, Writers group, and a Buy-Sell-Trade group, as well. It's fun to interact with doodle owners in this community! :)
