Our Niece Emma was here today so we took advantage of the opportunity to practice our doorbell training. (I apologize for the video quality but I was trying to do several things at once)

Great job!!
I love this! Thank you for sharing. I think I can do this! Right? =)
this is so awesome!
that's amazing! Mine have taken to running to the door barking whenever the phone rings, and whenever I clost the laptop up. I have no idea why. Maybe you have some tricks up your sleeve for this too?
Great job, do you you think you and Emma could come to my house. :>) I'm just impressed Quincy didn't react to the doorbell sound on the computer like he usually does.
Karen -- I originally bought the brown/tan one for Sophie but she took the blue one. Now when the door bell rings the normally both head for the brown one and sometimes actually both end up sitting on it together. (I think because it is closer to the sofa). Usually though whoever gets to the brown one first gets it and the other one goes to the blue one.
Julie -- The doorbell thing was out of control here as well. I was worried about it because of my Mom mostly because Lucy in particular gets so excited that she just jumps right up on her for a hug and a kiss and I was afraid my Mom was going to get a black eye. Mom is no help when it comes to making them behave. So I decided I had to get busy with this. My problem was that we don't have a lot of company so it was hard to practice. I've been working on it off and on for a few weeks now. During the day when it is just us, I ring the doorbell and make them go to their pillows. When it is DH and I one of us goes outside and the other one works the inside. They get really excited with Emma as well, so thought it would be good to practice with her. It is a work on progress, but we will eventually get there. Right now if it is just a stranger at the door it goes pretty well, but if it is Mom and Dad it is still a little rough. It is just going to take a lot of patience. It would have been much easier if I had been persistent when they were little.
Wow, that is just awesome! Good job! How did you get there? Monty is getting much better at "crowding' the door. He would sit at a command when we go answer the door, but as soon as the visitor is in, Monty just needs to go greet.
Congrats and I'm so jealous. How long was this work in progress? I REALLY need to get the door bell training under control - its obnoxious at this point!!
I am just so impressed by this!
(Do I see that they are each still using the other one's bed, or have they just made a permanent switch, lol? Wasn't the blue one originally Sophie's?)
Nice work by all 4 girls!
