Cheryl...When I read or hear about an idea that intrigues me, YES.  I have been this way all my life even as a child.  I once took all the picture tubes out of our television while my parents were gone.  My Mom was so mad at me, but Dad told her at least I labeled everything and had drawn a diagram.  Dad helped me put the television back together.  We had alot of fun, even with him scolding me for doing it.  He was an electrician and always encouraged us to think and be creative.  I have not always made the right choices in life.  But it taught me not to be afraid of trying the unknown.

Bonnie..you are right and Jane (Guinness & Murphy) thinks so too.

Carol..Joanne (Spud & Starlit) talked about it during Yappy Hour.  She has always wanted to try it but was afraid of destroying her microwave.  Since I had an old microwave outside I offered to do it for her.

Camilla..I think you would have fun doing this with your DB and DS.  It would even be a good April Fools prank.

Crazy! Do you often experiment with randoms and the micro? Hey, props to u for not being in the closet about it. At first, i thought my son and I could do this, but don't want him to think it's ok to play with the micro.

Jane, I cooked it on high, initially set it for 2 minutes but stopped it at 1 minute 30 seconds.  If you try and stand the bar up so you can read the Ivory.  It will fall over and make more of a mess.

I'm home now.  Before I had to watch it from a public computer with no sound.  That Music.  Hysterical.  I've never heard that hiney version.   Made me smile all over again.

Joanne, glad I could help.  I actually did this 3 times.  It was the best $1.16 I have spent lately.  The first time I did this outside and then used my microwave in the house.  It smelt wonderful, the soap was warm and crumbled into flakes.  I did crumble most of it up and put it in a jar to use.  You should try it is so much better in person.  It is not are to clean up.  Just put it on a paper plate in the center of your microwave.
