We do bring the bells with us, and yes he "transfers" his use of the bells. The first time or two we used them at my parent's house we "practiced". As an adult, he can hold it for a long time, and typically we know when he has to go based on how long it has been, so unless we're going somewhere for a weekend its not necessary at this point. But it is nice to have. and really nice for when my parents watch him.
This is so cute. I've often wondered though how, when you use poochie bells, do they let you know they need to go out if you are somewhere other than your house? Say at grandma's house or a hotel or a friends house? Do you take the bells with you?
BB is so cute....and patient!! Trav stands at the door and looks at me. If that doesn't work, he adds a little whine. Like BB, he usually just wants to go outside and sniff around. :)
I posted it to the Puppy Madness wall, because I think this was the single best purchase for BB as a puppy. He was potty trained in a week, and I give credit to these bells. Thanks Joanne!
I think you need to post this for all the new potty training owners. At 3.5 we still have those bells. Wonderful
Haha. Joanne, I was worried someone might think we were neglecting him. This particular time was a "I am bored and want to go outside". I could "just tell", but I took him out right after, anyways, and he just sniffed and sniffed... I posted because I think its adorable how he goes UNDER the bells.
Let that dog out already.
