What an amazing back drop for your walks.... looks beautiful!  That water must have been cold!

What a beautiful part of the country you're in! Just had salmon tonight but something tells me it isn't quite like yours!

I steelhead and salmon fish a lot of streams here in the Pacific NW & have waded rivers must more challenging than this creek .. even as it appears in the video.  The water here is only about 3 feet deep at most.  It is swift, but I could have retrieved either dog had they got in a predicament they couldn't handle.  I wasn't really worried about Cedar, but Ranger is older.  I would have definitely hopped in had anything untoward occurred.  The cold doesn't seem to bother them much & they both love the water.  It would have bothered me, if I had to get in with what I was wear :o)

Wow that is a lot of cold water! Glad your dogs listen to you right away, I'd be so nervous!

There's a big calm pool just below.  I'm more worried about Ranger with her hips than Cedar(who is a REALLY good swimmer).  I would be right in after them if they slipped :o)  They get dried and warmed when I return home.

That water must be so cold! And I guess I would worry about the dogs being swept away. But it is beautiful.
