Vern Perfecting his Stop, Drop, and Roll!
Vern and Fudge went swimming today. Vern came out of the lake and rolled in goose poop. We came home and I gave him a bath with the hose and before I could finish doing the same for Fudge, he was on the driveway rolling and was dirtier than before we started! He is still rolling after I finished with Fudge!

Maybe Vern feels that he's a bit too pale for summer, and dirt is the doodle version of a tan?

Oh poor you, Laurie. I had a chocolate lab that used to roam the neighborhood and roll in SEPTIC drains! UGH. Then I would open the door, let him in, and rudely be greeted by a dog rolling across the carpet! I used to CRY
