So Chewie has started chewing up anything stuffed. He loves squeaky toys...holds them in his mouth squeaking them as he walks around, but if it's soft and/or stuffed, it's now trash...LOL. He had the Hide-a-Squirrel...loved it...two of the squirrels are destroyed. He had a Skin-Eez...really loved that...just tonight, chewed off the end.

What toys have you found your doodles to love that have proven to be durable? He of course loves his bully sticks, flozzies, etc, but can't have those all the time.

TIA for your suggestions!

Our doodle Thomas was never interested in toys and if we gave him one with stuffing..it was toast in a few minutes. I bought him a KONG "Wubba" and he loves it. It squeaks too.
Okay.. so I just got back from PetSmart, and the only "toy" we came back with was more nylabones.... We got her a cube for Christmas that you can put treats, or dry kibble in. She kicks it around, but gives up easily because it's too big to pick up. The poor puppy just hasn't learned yet that if she doesn't tear everything apart, she would have so much more to play with.... I wanted to try the Skineez, but was afraid she would tear that apart too. I swear, she's worse than "Cujo" (for those who remember him...)

Here is a toy review I posted recently. Gracie is a power chewer, can even destroy a Kong. This one is still intact and she loves it! And yes, she has destroyed a few of the "continents" but the world is till in great shape.

Here is Matey after playing with his new kitty for 30 minutes. He is a master destuffer!

This picture is so cute! He really is a master destuffer! Timbow's the opposite. He loves plush toys and tears up rubber toys. He's my silly dood. :)
WOW! Guess that answers THAT question! LOL I was actually thinking of trying the cat. Heard it was virtually indestructible! Tori too is a master TEARER! Except, she eats what she tears off. Not goo for the "Poop-hole" LOL Did you ever try the dragon toy that has been discussed??
The dragon toy was one of the suggestions I took...it's on order, should be here soon. We will see if it lasts more than a day or two. LOL.
Nope, not YET- only because I have not found it. The quest for the indestructible stuffed toy continues...
Hi! We bought Harper a "Tough Guard: Puppy Tough Ball" a few weeks before we brought her home. She is now 7 months old, and finally tore off her "Miss Piggy" tail last week and chewed out one foot last night! We LOVE this toy...it has a squeaker in each foot, is great for playing fetch indoors, and is also washing machine proof...not to mention it's super cute!

i think we got ours from either Petsmart or PetPeople...

they also have a lot of other toys as well with the Tough Guard technology at their website: http://www.godogfun.com/products_chewguard
Okay.. I'm going to try one of these too... I'm going to take a trip to PetSmart this weekend... That's IF my husband doesn't reel me in from buying another toy for Tori that doesn't last two days LOL Shhh I won't tell him LOL
At 7 months, Peri started destroying ALL of her plush toys. I bought one of those 7x stitched plush toys for ridiculous $15 and it was torn up within 5 minutes. I will not buy any more plush ones, period. Until she gets out of this phase (if ever).
Her toy basket consists of Zogoflex (by West Paw) and elk antlers. That's it! Good luck.

That's about the same age Chewie became destructo-dog, Allyson. I know how him and Peri are often so alike...LOL. Chewie has had this for a whole four days now and it's still in one piece. He really likes it...makes funny noises however he grabs it.

He has a few other things coming also that were recommended here...we will see what survives.
