Has anyone ever heard of a toy called the Mutt Mop? I saw it online and it says indestuctable but... Sonny really like stuffed animals but he destroys them all. He is not a fan of Kongs and is okay with tuffies but he doesn't love them like he does stuffed animals. Wanted to know if anyone has or has heard of Mutt Mop. Thanks!
I had something that looked like the same material. It didn't have the core but was stitched together. It didn't fare very well with Luca but he enjoyed chewing on the remnants for a while.
I just looked on their site. They really do look like the end of a mop. I don't know if they would tear or not. My Lilly holds material between her teeth and just grinds her teeth back and forth until she gets a hole in it. Let us know if you get one.
I'd like to know how it holds up too, if you get one. I like that there is a guarantee with it tho. Wonder how hard it would be to get your money back. At this point I think I'll go back to the towel rag, tied into a knot and let them have at it!!!.. Cheap and always handy. Got plenty of towels we use as rags.
Another good one is to take an old sweatshirt and tie the sleeves and body into knots. Make sure you don't wash it beforehand so it can have your scent on it. Of course make sure it is a sweatshirt you will never want to wear again!
Allison!!!!! You dog you!!!! It's Rochelle!!! LOL I never saw you on here before!!!! There actually was a whole discussion on indestructible toys a few days ago!!!! Nice to see you on here! Tell you what - you try it and let me know if Sonny keeps it all in one piece!
Hey everybody, I got a Mutt Mop for my labradoodle when she was a puppy. We LOVED it (including the dog). She went crazy for it. She did eventually destroy it, but it was entertaining to watch, and it lasted a LOT longer than most toys! lol
Got my Mutt Mop a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to give it a chance. They love it! It's a pretty durable toy and the 2 of them tug at it and wrestle with it all day. If one of them gets it and disappears we know they have gone to try to chew it up. They have been able to tear a couple of pieces off of it but it takes them awhile and they are usually not alone with it long enough. I would definetly recomend one of these if you have 2 dogs. If you have one they are going to treat it like a ball so be prepared to throw it. It washes very easily in the washer and doesn't break anything when you throw it.
