We're getting another doodle

I haven't been on here lately but I have to share with everybody, anybody my excitement.

I "had" Rosie, a sweet mini goldendoodle, that I bought for my grand daughter.  Although she was Michaela's dog, she did not live with Michaela because there was nobody home at their house during the day.  I also took care of Michaela and her sister Haley before and after school each weekday.  So, we decided that RosieDoodle would live with me and belong to Michaela.  In November Rosie went to actually live with Michaela since her mom was now home during the day.  I am so lost without both Rosie and having the girls here with me.  The only solution......get another Dood.  I contacted the breeder that I got Rosie from and she did have available pups so I will be getting a new Doodle in a couple of weeks.  I can't wait.  Giving up Rosie was hard but check out the picture of Michaela and her dog and you will see why I did it.  Thanks for letting me share.  Dottie

I am sooo excited for you..I am retired and live alone..and my dood is my 24 hr companion!! So completely understand you being lonesome..It will be fun to see your new pup and now you have the fun of thinking of a name!!!! Keep us posted!

I am just thrilled for you!!!!!...These doods just get into your system, and you have to have one for your very own, and I am sure that it will be just a wonderful adventure for you. Did you get a boy or a girl? Do u have a name yet? Is it a mini golden doodle? What color? We need all the particulars of your new little one please....Cheryl

Like Rosie, this new dood is a female and a mini. The big difference is she is black while Rosie is so very light and shows all the mud. Michaela named her dog Rosie so I have not faced the issue of naming a dood. The breeder gave her the name Maggie and I'm not sure if I will keep that or rename her. I guess that will be decided when I see her and get to know more about her personality. I'm also sure both Michaela and Haley will have something to say about her name.

You might consider a flower name for your new doodle--and it would kinda go with her cousin Rosie :-)

Looking at the picture, I certainly can see why you decided that Rosie belonged with your grand daughter. It will be so exciting getting a new puppy...can't wait for details and pictures!

Hard to give up the doodle but it had to be done. Your granddaughter looks so happy. You will really enjoy getting a puppy and knowing it's all yours.
