Today while I was doing stuff around the house, I was talking to my two dogs like they were human...I was complaining about the mess that was in the den, and I suddenly realized that I was talking to my dogs, lol...Like they were going to answer me???..They follow me around and I swear when I talk to them they listen, and understand what I am saying...Am I the only one who does this? I have always done this with all our dogs, and I guess I am too old to change...But maybe the men in the white coats will come and get me..., lol

there u go, another reason to prove we are not nuts..
Both DH and I talk to the doodles. It's funny when he comes home and asks how their day was and did they go to the park. I talk to them all day and Yankee talks back with a funny rah rah rah thingy. I guess it's better than what I used to do which is talk out loud to myself. At least now I don't seem as looney.
Nah u were never loony, you just needed a doodle to listen to you, lol
Oh and we sing and dance together too. Dances better than DH!!!!
OMG, we do too, lol, and yes Oliver is a much better dancer the my husband is, lol...
I dance with both of my doodles too! Fenway actually gets picked up and danced with, but because Dustin is so big he hops up and puts his paws on my waste to dance. I love it!
At Christmas time while trying to snap a photo of Hudson and my 2 kids, I said, "Okay, now all three of you look at your dad (standing behind me) and smile!" Yes, Hudson is definitely like a third child!!!
When we had Oliver & Renny's picture with Santa this year, I too said ok, boys, look at Daddy and smile...So I guess I too have 4 children, 2 human and two human with furry coats, lol...
You are kidding, right?? I always talk to my girls. They are the only ones who always think I am brilliant and right!
I always talk to Pepsi as though he is human. I caught myself doing it while we were walking one day and I was slightly embarrassed, thinking that if people driving by saw me they would think I am crazy! But I still catch myself doing it all the time! At home is one thing, in public can be pretty funny!
Umm...NO! I do it all the time. You KNOW your crazy when you start talking FOR your dog. BTW, I do that too. :o) I have passed this affliction on to my daughter.
Funny, I do that too and both my dogs seem to have very high pitched cartoon-like voices.
