Ha. I had the same question when I discovered webbed feet on my doodle. It also led to the infamous Frito conversation ( funny this was brought up today also)

Yes, I believe they do--and makes them great swimmers! Enjoy those feet. I love puppy feet.

Oh, I am laughing so hard. I took Bear to visit my family and my sister got on the floor and started to smell his feet and she said her labs feet smell like fri-toes and she said Bear's did too. I thought she was going crazy because I can't smell the fri-toes. She is going to have to read this so she knows she's not alone. There is a whole society of fri-toe smelling people out there.

Oh and Bear had webbed feet also, but I didn't know that poodles had webbed feet.

Yep, poodles were originally hunting dogs used for retrieving water fowl; that's the reason for the weird haircuts, too.

I wonder why dogs paws smell like Fritos??? Our Lab (who passed away 6 yrs ago) had major Frito paws! Our daughter who has a Rhodesian Ridgeback 9 mos. old has just discovered "Fritos". Gracie Doodle doesn't have them that bad. I have only gotten a hint of Fritos maybe three times in almost three years.

I'm sure the reasons are not appetizing, lol. Their pads are the only place on their bodies besides their noses that contain sweat glands.

Gavin is an F1 Goldendoodle and he most definately has webbed feet and they are the size of frying pans. Can't wait till summer to see how he swims!

Gracie Doodle is a Goldendoodle and yes...she has webbed feet!!! Great swimmer and her "mitts" are huge too!!!

Peri's webbing goes almost to the top. She is a natural born swimmer.
