Don't know if anyone on DoodleKisses can help foster this doodle but thought I would post the link. I saw this post on petfinder today. I am in the Nashville area and have certainly thought about fostering this beautiful boy all day, but I have two 75 lb rowdy doods and I'm not sure we would be the best environment for a quiet doodles recuperation. http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=15723833?rvp=1
Julia I am in Nashville too, but sadly, am in a condo and cannot foster (not enough room).
Can you add Nashville Area to your dicsussion title so others can see? Maybe the DRC can help give us some pointers. Have you called the shelter?
Anyone who is able to foster this guy needs to contact the rescue ASAP; you will most likely have to fill out a foster application and be approved as a foster home for that rescue, but it's not difficult. They will contact your vet to make sure your own pets are UTD with vacs.
I am sure that the rescue will make arrangements to bring him to you, if you don't live too far away.

OMG!!! I can hardly stand it. I want to jump in my car and drive for the next 2-3 days just to get him!!! Looks like my Murphy. Had to go give him a big hug. Thank God the lady found him and he will survive his injuries. I guess it's time for me to sign up to be a foster home for doodles....in Az.
I am here and I wish I could foster. But my condo doesn't allow dogs over 35 pounds plus I work full time. What can I do? Feeling helpless and I am close by.
I just left a message with Candice from the Critter Calvary (that is the organization that rescued Wilson from the high-kill shelter). I would be very happy to foster him, but wouldn't be able to go until Saturday to get him. I'll let y'all know what I hear back!
