Hi East Coast Doodler's,

How are all of you doing with all the snow? Hopefully you are safe and warm, and with electricity.  Let us know...

Thank you Shelly!
Good to hear the MRI showed nothing awful and her medicine is working for her.

Sadie looks like she is in her element looking so regal in the snow. Since we don't get snow, only rain, Bear too goes out in it thinking that's what you do when it rains. Sit outside and let it rain all over you, or he tries to bite at the rain drops.
Thanks Heidi! I am glad to hear Bear thinks hanging out while it rains on you is appropriate! One of the places we frequent is an old farm with wonderful fields now public property....there is a four way stop sign near by....and in foul weather I see the heads turn in the vehicles to spot Sadie and I and often wonder what those folks must be saying!! One thing I am guessing though is they don't doubt how much I love my girl!!
All good here on Long Island! All shoveled out.. after 2 days off from school, everything is back to normal tomorrow. We had another fun day in the snow. Took about 30 minutes both days after playing to get all of those iceballs off of Tori,a lot of mopping up, but she just LOVED the snow!!! I guess the real hair just attracts those ice balls. My golden never really had such trouble.
Here in Seven Valleys, PA, we got about 25 inches this weekend, followed by another almost 20 inches on Tuesday. It is amazing how two days in the house can give a person cabin fever. Fudge, on the other hand, LOVES the snow and does not mind the ice balls clinging to every surface of her body and the dripping that follows. She is almost giddy in the snow and would stay out there all day if we would let her. We had lots of sunshine today, but I am hearing rumors of more snow. We are ready for the spring!!!
Here in central Jersey we got a foot on Sat. and another foot yesterday so it feels like we're living in Northern VT. Finnegan is loving every flake of it, all the time, except he has now lost his very last tennis ball in the arctic backyard. He thinks I'm going to find it for him but he's going to have to wait until spring. It doesn't matter that they are neon green - once they are two feet down in the snow, they are gone forever!

Finn is completely impervious to cold from the snow but I don't think he likes the wind. We tried to go for a walk in the worst of it yesterday and he wanted to turn around (or at least I wanted to turn around and he seemed to think it was a very good idea :)

Pic below! Thanks for checking on us!
Can't attach picture but will try in a second post.
I have been thinking of all of you Easterners and am glad to hear that those of you who have "checked in" are doing ok.
The little 7-8 inches here in North Carolina, are all gone now thanks to the snow plows and the rain. Now we hear we might have an inch this weekend. It's great. Enough snow that it is beautiful, not enough to stop the world. Webber loves the snow.

None of the area schools had session for the entire week here in Pittsburgh, PA. Many of them are closed tomorrow as well....
I don't think I have ever seen that much snow. We only get enough in our local mountain to last a few days on the graound. It's so beautiful and your dogs look so awesome in it.
Wow! Do you guys have a winter break next week too like us in NY??? BTW~ what kind of dog is the "non-doodle"? Looks like an akita or chow??? Beautiful too!!!
It won't be fun when we lose all of the Easter Break and have to stay in school longer.....
The "non-doodle" is a Chow Chow, named Butter. Believe it or not, he is 15 years old!
