What a Wonderful Day

Most of you know that I live in South Fl. and the weather here has been very cold for us, to say the least...But today our glorious weather returned...It was in the low 70's with lots of sun and very little wind...We went to visit friends in Miami Beach and spent the day walking and eating on Lincoln Rd. This is a woonderful area with great shoppes and restaurants, and just tons of people and their DOGS...In fact the restaurants are so welcoming to animals that they bring water to the dogs, and treats if u allow it. Well I saw and met about 10 doodles, lab and golden doodles, and of course I had to talk to every owner. I was so upset that I didn't take Oliver with us...But like my husband said, if u brought him u would be upset that he looks funny with his short hair on body and legs, and head and tail are all doodle, lol...But we are going to go back, I loved it there, there was so much to see and do, and Oliver is definately comong with us...Great people too...

I am so sorry that today is the one day we weren't in MB! We drove down to Islemorada with Barbara, Lee and their Lexi.
This is a picture of the restaurant where we had lunch - Island Grille.
Not too hard to enjoy the scenery and the food was just delicious!

Cheryl, wanna see a funny looking Doodle......look what the groomer did to poor Lexi this time around.........I think we might buy clippers and a scissor and start home grooming. Take Oliver with you....he can't look any worse then Lexi.

Well if we put Lexi and Ollie together they would be quite the pair...He looks a little weider then her with his full doodle face, but the body and tail look the same, lol...

I'm so jealous! There are very few dog friendly businesses here, especially restaurants. I'm seriously considering moving to Florida now... for the weather too! Sounds like fun.

Well Camilla, we have had the worst winter here, I have lived here for 27 yrs, and never had this much cold weather. Since Jan 1st it has been really cold here. the nights have sometimes dropped to the low thirties and the upper twenties...We are hoping that this is finally over...I know u guys have had so much snow and freezing weather, and I shouldn't complain, but for us this has been terrible...I feel so bad for people on vacation here,,,Of course if u are coming from the North, or the med-west, I guess it wouldn't be too bad, lol, but for us it is awful. the other morning it was 31 degrees, and New York City was 42 degrees...A lttle problem don't ya think, lol...But sure come on down, the weather just might be changing...
