Double Puppy Madness

We have decided to add a second doodle to Max's madness. It is actually one of his sister's. The breeder still has two girls from the same litter. So of course they are the same age as Max, 17 weeks now. It is either going to be Sasha or Stormy. The breeder says that Stormy is Very active and larger and that Sasha is calmer and more of a follower. We are leaning toward Sasha from that description. Lol Max is a handful but I really think that having someone to play with is going to help him lots. Not Sure how old these photos are. The one with the red ribbon is Sasha and Stormy has the blue. We are heading out to pick one of them up in the morning.

Thanks Laura! We are really excited. One of them will be coming home with us tomorrow. Max loves other dogs and so he will be in Doodle Heaven! Max is white as snow, well when he is clean, so they should be really adorable together. It will be interesting to see if there is still a bond there between them. Max wasn't quite 8 weeks old last time he saw them.

You can't go wrong. They are both really cute. As to personality...Max will be so happy to have a sibling he may actually calm down. Lucca is totally different when Ben is around.

Both are adorable. Good luck. Our 16 week old is named Max as well... too cute. We had to put down our 15 year old dog on Monday and for a brief lapse in judgement I went back to see if they had a female from Max's litter... luckly they do not have any left... Let us know how it goes. I feel like our Max is going to be so lonely. :)

Awww Nikki I am so sorry. We had to do that to our two 14 year old labs this past year. A very hard thing but sometimes it is just the right thing to do. I hope your Max is not two lonely. You could always get my Max's other sister :) She is the right age! I will keep everyone updated. Max just absolutely hates being alone so I think it will be a very good thing for him and give me some degree of freedom again as well :)

How cute! I just love the necklaces and bows... I too think I would go with the calmer one of the two. What a nice pair Max would make with either of these. How exciting for you. Can't wait to hear how it all turns out! Good luck!

I think taking Max along is a great idea! One of our dog's picked out our cat year's ago, and they have been best friends from day one. He also picked out the other dog, and had some say in Leo's selection too, although that was limited because the breeder didn't want outside dogs with the pups, which is reasonable.And he even puts up with Leo's incessant badgering!

Yes Max will be coming with us so that will absolutely play a part in the decision. I am excited to get a look at his mom and dad too. The breeder is about 2 1/2 hours away from us and when I picked up Max we met halfway so I didn't have the chance then. I know whichever one comes home with us we can't go wrong. Lol I am so excited! It is like Christmas Eve again :) I will post after we get back tomorrow to let you all know. Thanks for all the good wishes and support. The members of this site are the best!!

Oh good luck. They are both adorable. I am exhausted w/ my Sheila, but wish I had done two. Then at least they would wear each other out. Can't wait to hear how it goes? I am still potty training at 15 wks. Are you guys?
