Odd Doodle Breeds

Today I had Bailee (Labradoodle) at our local off-leash dog park - and we met the most curious little dog. She was a Jack-A-Poo!
Poodle x Jack Russell Terrier mix! We have two Jacks as well and I just couldn't believe what a fun mix that little dog was :)
Anyone else met any weird Doodle/Poodle crosses?

I met a "Setterdoodle" at the dog park last month. It was an Irish Setter/Standard Poodle cross and she was TALL. She was 27" or 28" at the shoulder, and a beautiful dark apricot. It seems like it would be a very high energy mix, and she was. She was also super sweet, intelligent, and pretty!

We have an Irish setter/poodle mix (I like Irish Doodle better!) here on DK...Leslie's Kirby. He's gorgeous and he looks like a reddish GD, to me.

What an interesting mix. Our first dog was an Irish Setter...not a good choice for a first dog (actually she was a wedding present). She was stunning, but a "wild thing". She's the one that went through puppy kindergarten several times because she couldn't learn ANYTHING. When she would get loose she would "run like the wind". I can't even count the times DH and I would load the kids in the car and go off to chase her. She lived to be 13, and went to her grave still trying to "escape". That said, we loved her to death, and other than being a complete free spirit and not the "sharpest knife in the drawer", she was a wonderful girl. I'm thinking adding the poodle intelligence to the mix might result an a great dog.

I grew up with an Irish Setter, who died when I was 5. He was a definite "wild thing", was so darn goofy - we loved him to bits.....
I love Kirby - the Irish Doodle on DK. I think he is gorgeous!!!!
I still think the whoodles are odd - I saw one the other day. Mixing a terrier and poodle just doesn't seem right to me!

Wheaten Terrier/Poodle mix - there are some breeders out there. They are certainly cute, but the personalities of the breeds are so different, that is why I wonder about them!
