I have always loved Willy!!! Do you know of any other doodles on DK with Willy's color? He is so unique!!
I just put this photo together to show Bonny with her parents and siblings. It is quite the experiment in genetics! She's really starting to look like her dad right now, but her adult coat is starting to come in and it's different! Darker on top of her head and down the center of her back...

Awwwwww she does look like her daddy=) Great pic thanks for posting!!
Wow, thanks for posting this Cheri! Very nice job!! Bonny does look a lot like her dad. I am amazed at all the different colors of Bonny's litter mates, the are all beautiful!!! I could kick myself for not taking a camera when I picked up my two. I wish I had some photos of their litter mates. I do have pictures of their mothers though.
The breeder sent me all these pictures of her siblings and parents after I got her. I thought it was a pretty fascinating group of pups. I would have liked to see them all together.
I would have loved to see them all together too. Parti, black, chocolate, cremes and sables. So beautiful! Did you get first pick of the litter? Who is your breeder? Do they have a website I can check out?

Zoe's mom was red and her dad was a brown merle.  Go figure!  Zoe is a blue merle (I guess black is a dominant color), but she does have some reddish brown on her paws and muzzle.  As a puppy she had a chocolate patch on one side but it has grown out to black.  But she has a white chest just like her daddy!  I read that the merle gene is a separate gene from the color gene and "bleaches" out the solid color in spots.  The grey areas would otherwise be black.  People say Zoe looks like she brushed against a freshly painted white fence!
