Nor-Cal Doodle Romp April 18th and April 25th

Hi all
I posted this in the Nor-cal group but didn't know how many ABD's in CA were in that group. So.... I am posting it here too!!! I definitely will be at the April 25th Romp and possibly the April 18th too. It would be great if we could get as many ABD's  as we can.

This was posted on IDOG.biz but Lucy asked me to post the info on DK so all here will know.

It's about time for our annual Romp(s) Around the World to benefit
International Doodle Owners Group (http://www.IDOG.biz)
doodle rescue/rehome effort. We have tentatively scheduled 2 romps:>

April 18: 10AM-12PM Point Isabel Dog Park in Richmond (http://www.ebparks.org/parks/pt_isabel)

April 25: 10AM-12PM Hellyer Dog Park in San Jose (http://www.parkhere.org/portal/site/parks/)

We might be able to attend the 4/18 one! but 'maybe' not the 4/25 one.

Sounds like I'm doing the 4/18 one too. I won't miss the opportunity to meet big brother Kachi and mommy too, and....of course ALL the other ABD's :-)

Oh my gosh!!!! I am too excited! I won't mentioned it to Kachi though, until that morning, because he'll be too excited to sleep!! He already whines every Tuesday morning when I don't move fast enough getting him to the car for playgroup! Wait till he hears he might be meeting his bros!!!! Woo! Hoo! He'll be crazy excited!

ABD family who are attending the 4/18/10 romp: I am sorry to report that Kachi and I are now on the 'doubtful' list for this romp, and to say we are sad does not quite cover it. I was soo looking forward to meeting everyone in person :( My boss has asked me to take care of his 9 week old Labrador puppy that weekend (while he and his family are out of town for a volleyball tournament)! I couldn't say, "No', since this is the very same man who let me work from home when Kachi was a puppy!! Further, my husband is soo not impressed with this idea, that it will be completely out of the question to leave him home with this puppy, BUT miracles do happen-so if anything changes, I will happily be reporting it.
I am now feverishly trying to figure out how we can come to the 4/25/10 one instead!

Bummer! I could have done the Richmond one, but can't do Sunday in San Jose. Oh well! Next time. Omni would love to visit with some family one of these days! He's on his way to being a great doggie citizen! Have fun you guys!
