HOW TANNER WAS FOUND IN MASSACHUSETTS

Patty, Tanner's mom e-mailed me that yesterday the brother of the off duty policewoman who was helping Patty and her husband, Pietre was walking his dog in the woods in a town near where Tanner had bolted. As he was walking he saw a dog "hovering" or "huddling" in a ravine, but he ran.

The fellow called Patty's husband who drove to the spot and started walking deep into the woods.

He spotted Tanner, apparently in the same position and yelled, SIT, Tanner sat and Peitre was able to walk over and leash him! They think he was walking a 3 mile circle in the woods. Other than being a little skinny, she said he was fine and wants everyone who thought or prayed for Tanner to have her thanks. Also, she said once she has gotten over this, she would like to help other people find their lost dogs. I told her everyone in the Doodle communities had been thinking of them and that this news was just Grrrrreat!!! Phew.
