THE SEARCH FOR COAL, LOST LABRADOODLE IN FL. WAS EXTENSIVE

and I wanted to stop back and tell you teams of searchers on Saturday and Sunday posted and gave fliers, stopped at gas stations, walked neighborhoods, spent time in a variety of parks near

where Coal left the home of the sitter, and, basically, "seeded" a huge area where the psychic/s

had told the family Coal is now living. A story in Saturday morning's hugely circulating newspaper. the Orlando Sentinel, with photographs and a story about Coal also coincided with the search.  Today, every Veterinarian's office in a ten mile range of the search will recieve a fax of the flier.  All of us hope the seeds planted will sprout. There have been great moments of hope, and sad moments of futililtly. Through it all, however, the important story of Doodle owners helping Doodle owners; in itself, a wonderful and meaningful story. We all continue to say...Coaaaalllll  where rrrrr  uuuuuu?  Thanks to everyone for wishes.  We certainly would like some good news on the other two Doods missing on The Doodle Messenger; Charlie, in Maryland, and Tug (with a sighting at least) in North Dakota. Eyes open, ear to the ground!

I had read the Orlando Sentinel article. Did the owners consult with a psychic or animal communicator? They are two different things, but often the terms are used interchangeably. Just curious.

Hey Suzanne, the psychic they worked with in Canada is considered, apparently, a psychc...however she also, apparently, considers herself an animal communicator. That gal is unknown to me...someone they had a connection to in the past and whom they trust. The other, more recently recommended by several Doodle owners on several forums is new to them, in the midwest, a psychic, who also describes herself as an animal communicator. I dooooo understand what you are asking. And, I imagine you know the difference as do I, but, apparently both gals use the terms interchangeably, so we chose to do that as well. The newer gal, however, I believe is actually billed as an animal communicator...for she often speaks to them as though she is Coal and has Coal's feelings, perhaps she just gets the terms so often she accepts them interchangeably or people speaking with her do, I don't know, we are only the processers of information the family provides. They do have one more conversation with what I would term "animal communicator" available to them this week. So, in a perfect world, perfect titles would apply.... :) Good point, but pressure point time for the family I think. And language labels of a different Country than ours.

Not a problem. I have taken a class with Shannon Gross, and know that she has studied under Penelope Smith. I didn't want to mention anything if they already have someone to work with. Mary Marshall is another communicator that I have worked with.

Good luck in finding Coal. I know I would be heartsick if anything happened to my boys.

That name is so familiar, Suzanne, perhaps the family did talk with her at one point. Could be even now. As news comes down the pipeline we try to get all of it...but sometimes there is too much too fast. I think perhaps they did. We can't really "advertise" if you know what I mean, but we try to do active listening via e-mail and telephone. It is terrible either way with the Doodle Messenger families, either they are dealing with a terrible illness and hoping new protocols and research will appear,, or they have a loss which may never be resolved. I suspect, but I do not know for sure, if it was my dog I would rather be dealing with a diagnosis as far as I could take it. Have my dog and recognize a downward spiral, or upward. And should the end come, I'd know I did everything and there would be a finality, a closure. Lost just hangs out there, forever really. Where is my dog, does someone have my dog, is my dog allright? Niether one are great choices and when I think about it, I have a really awful time. None of the Volunteers on the Messenger Board had any idea, and I fully include myself, the depth and breadth of feeling of all of these owners. Now I think I'm just plain llucky, my number hasn't come up...yet.
