I know Cooper's feet have always smelled like corn chips or maybe even Doritos to me, I have seen some other members mention the same.  Today on the Bark Magazine site, they posted the reason!  I thought you all might find this interesting.  I am guessing that our doodles may have smellier feet than most because they are furry and fuzzy.  Anyway, I thought you all might find this topic interesting, here is the link from the Bark site:

I don't know about all of you, but I LOVE the smell of Cooper's Frito feet!  :)

Great article, and I love Darwin's frito feet as well, it adds to his doggy charm. :-)
In my book Frito feet smell ranks second behind the sweet smell of puppy breath.
Thanks for the info. I always thought it was a fungus.
Wow, pseudomonas! That is a bad bug in the hospital setting. I love the frito foot smell too. If we all come up with skin infections I'll know where it came from!
Yes, it is a fritto smell and I love it too!!
Nugget's feet smelled like Fritos, too, until she was diagnosed with a yeast infection. After that was treated and cured, the smell went away.
I love frito feet, wish there's some way to bottle that smell so I could carry it with me to work. It is one of the most comforting smells. Zooey (my GR) has it stronger, especially after a long walk under the sun. Koda's feet need a little bit more "marinating" (give him a couple more years since he is younger than Zooey) to achieve that level of pungency.
