Just wondering if this training works or not.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

I bought the discs, and it seems pretty standard but
One of the sessions really got me thinking he was not all that effective --
the dog was just not understanding what was being asked of him, and Don just kept Yanking on the lead to force the dog down (down command) -- you could see that with each iteration the dog seemed to be fighting being yanked down.

Most of the training is pretty much standard techniques you could find anywhere
He did have one trick for a remote down -- to tether the dog to a rock so he couldn't come to you and you could be at a distance to give the command.

other than that, I would save your money, do some research and go to some good training classes
Our local humane society offers alot of different classes!
Plus, the collar is cheap plastic and the "lines" you could make yourself by cutting a rope or clothesline into three pieces.
Someone on Doodle Kisses wrote a review of it I thi k on our Reviews page...? Use the top right search box and search for 'sullivan'
No, there is a mention of it when you do a search, but the page is gone.
There is only one review but not too helpful: http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/the-perfect-dog -- overall regardless of what method you use--even a very good one--it will still require a big time investment and commitment from you. There's no 'easy' way to a well trained dog.
Here is the comment I posted in another place. Honestly, it is close to a scam, I think.

I do not recommend it. It is a video and the basis of "his" system is a collar similar to a pinch collar, but soft. Other than the collar there is nothing new or unique in his system at all. It is not nearly as good as the one Adina recommends and the company who sells it is extremely difficult to deal with. If you want a good video training system, go to Amazon.com and for $10 to $15 you can get both video tapes that Adina has used. I loved them too and have passed them on to my son. The name of the system Adina recommended is Command Performance by David Dykeman. In Reviews on the website there is a more positive experience with the Don Sullivan Command Performance system
