DRC will be on CBS Early Show 6/9/10 at 8:30am EST

DRC (Doodle Rescue Collective) has been asked to participate in the CBS Early Show at 8:30am EST tomorrow! They will be celebrating the beauty of mixed breed dogs to coincide with the AKC allowing mixed breed dogs to participate in events such as agility but not beauty. They will have a small "beauty contest" of the local adoptable rescue dogs and the commentators will try to identify their breed mixes. Our very own PENELOPE and her foster mom, Patty Travaglino of CT will participate in the show!!! They will also post on their network website the contact information for the rescue groups in the "Beauty Contest." Let's all set your DVRs and TiVos to record our favorite doodle rescue group and further the education on the beauty of our favorite "hybrid" dogs!!!

As much as I love my Nelly (and she loves me), we can't be her forever home. Having 2 dogs rather than 3 gives us the flexibility to foster.

Tuli has spoken: there's only room for one princess in our pack, and it's the girl in the purple tutu!

What about Harry Smith? Maybe he would love to adopt her :) I have not seen the segment since I am at work.

My husband said it was soooooo nice. He called me right after the show. He said the doodle got the most attention, it was the doodle who was the best behaved... blah blah blah....

I think DH loves doodles too. Funny, he acted proud of this dog.

Great job ....... as always, the DRC Rocks! I'm sure this will result in a great home for Nelli and also many others because now more people will be aware of the DRC and what a great job they do! What a great spokesperson Harry was for Doodles everywhere!

Excellent camera time for Penelope and DRC. I think she was on camera the longest. And to have her picture on the accompanying web article is fantastic. I also saw the web article has the link to our DRC website. How great is that.
