Spur of the moment question:

Darwin has been crazy today! I've been stitching like crazy trying to get my little sister's quilt finished by tomorrow, and can't stop! I have a ton left to do and only tonight to do it. Darwin is going a little insane and has had the zoomies for the last few hours. Any fun indoor games that will entertain your pup for a while?

Give him a peanut butter-filled bone
I give Ralphie these smoked cow bones that you can get from the butcher shop, usually. However, if I really need him to be entertained for a long time, I put some spray cheese (he doesn't like peanut butter) in his kong, then a treat and then more spray cheese. I swear, that could entertain him for hours.
I have a kong but nothing to fill it with. :(
A good alternative to peanut butter in a kong is (if available in the US) cream cheese based on yoghurt with only 5 % fat. This keeps my boys busy for a long time and they love it. In the summer I put it into the freezer first then they can enjoy it even longer.
Another alternative in case you are feeding kibble. Put some kibble into a bowl full with water and let it soak for a while. As soon as the kibble is getting soft you can smash it and put into the Kong. You can put it also into the freezer for longer entertainment :)
Thanks, the kibble tip was awesome!
Great to hear that it works and Darwin has fun.

I highly recommend the Omega Paw Tricky Treats Ball. We'll sometimes feed our dog by putting half his kibble (Fromm) in here and it will keep him occupied anywhere from 30-60 minutes.
Lucy and Sophie each have one of these. Lucy is so funny ..... she empties it and then brings it back to you for more. We finally have to just put them up out of site because she will just continue to bring it back. If you just ignore her she will put it up on the sofa and push it onto your lap like didn't you see, I need more! She loves any type of treat toy!
I fill ours with:
PB
Apple sauce
salf free beef broth
can food

and freeze...it takes longer to get it out that way : )
Have you tried deer antlerz? Holly will chew on hers for hours on and off, she loves it! Just an idea!
Yeah, Darwin likes his antler but it is kind of on and off. He'll love it for a few days, then forget it for a few days...
Where do you find deer antlers??
