Both my boys love to snuggle! They are always nestled up to one, or both, of us on the couch. Jacoby is a little more insistant on being in my lap, but 25# of dog is a bit much.....
Linnea, I feel your pain girl!
Marley is soooo the lap dog. Fortunately he is quite small (15 lbs. at his last vet check though I'm sure more like 18lbs. now).
My mini Zoe 25LBS is far from a lap dog. I was hoping when we got her that she'd want to be one. But, nope, she isn't. She cuddles and will lay close to me but she's a little too independent to lay on my lap. She is very loving but not on the lap.
Our Riley is still a baby (15 weeks) and weighed, last week, 13 lbs (probably more this week...I will know tomorrow when she gets her shot), but she is definitely going to be a lap dog. She is EXTREMELY loving and wants to be with her people. Nothing gives her greater pleasure than sitting in our laps with a chew stick :)
oh yes!!! All 50 pounds of him:) Infact two nights ago I had my rocking chair back a little bit when he jumped up on me WE almost flipped the chair right over. lol
My Prada has taken over the couch!!!
Halas is a lap dog. He will snuggle next to me on the couch. He likes to be right on the corner, where he thinks he still fits, and most of his body hangs off the edge. But a lot of the time, he literally sits on my lap. He will climb onto my lap and sit down, facing away from me and just stay there for the longest time. It makes it kind of difficult to watch TV, but there's nothing good on anyway.
