This is literally the only toy that has survived Darwin's chewing. His other "good" toys may last a week at most. He has had his Kong since he was about 16 weeks old, has chewed it and played with it ever since, and it has a few teeth marks, but  nothing more. That is over six months of usage! We stuff it with yogurt and peanut butter then freeze it, and he loves that! My only complaint is that it's pretty hard and heavy, so I can never play catch with it, out of fear it will chip or break one of his teeth. It's also broken a couple of items in our house, because it's odd shape makes it unpredictable when you throw it... ha ha!

Our two Doodles, Abby and Rufus love their classic Kongs and also their Kong balls. Rufus especially just loves to bounce his ball and then catch it in his mouth. He has such fun with it!! I think that the Kong is the best as it has outlasted all the many other toys that we've bought for them.
I think that the kong is really durable but huff isn't very interested in it (unless it has treats in it). Glad your doodles like it.:)

I will need to try one Sam has chewed through every toy we have tried a tennis ball lasts about  15 minutes and he tries to get us to throw the bits - At least if it is not a toy he doesn't eat it - never attacked shoes, clothes or any thing else.

He does pick up my son's clothes and put them in the laundry I reckon its because he sleeps in my son's room and the dirty clothes are left on the floor.

Our doodle has destroyed everything besides his Kong even fire hose that was claimed indestructible.
