I never understood why all the controversy surrounding Rutland Manor

Please read it. Before reading it I did not know what to believe now we all know the truth.

And I probably vacuum more than any GR owner, because no Golden in the world could possibly shed more than Jack. Hair flies off of him when he's just walking around, even immediately after a brushing.

from the video who mean? They were taken by Debra Tranter who is an animal activist in Australia. They are from last year I think - you will need to look that up on one of the sites about this controversy because I am not 100% sure anymore about the date..

I'm familiar with Debra. She has been trying to tell people about RM in doodle forums for a long time, and was met with scorn, disrespect, and much worse- up until now. I imagine this video was available and posted before now, too. I'm glad people are finally listening.

There are two sides, and sometimes more, to every story. I have never been to RM and so I certainly don't know the truth. But I do think that having someone who spent weeks there and raved about it, and now is suddenly exposing it, seems strange. Also, there is a breeder here in the US, who still has a RM dog on her website, who supposedly with severe hip dysplasia. She is quoted on Rutland Manor Exposed. Yet, on the website it says that this dog passed all her health testing and she did have at least one litter. WTD? Now we have have a new member who is eager to disparage RM. It all makes one wonder. Can we believe anyone?

Well said, exactly how I feel. I don't know what to believe and what not anymore. I had my personal dealings with RM but these were issues regarding shipment which were not caused by RM but change of legislation. My try to help and investigate in this issue was not really appreciated (at least I felt so). I cannot judge over conditions I haven't witnessed myself. Both sides of this "war" are so extreme in fighting against each other and presenting so-called facts which are so contrary so what is the truth now? I think only the involved parties will know and it is best to stay away from the mudfights unless you can comment about your own experiences.

Except that if the photos are really real, I think I know which side I might agree with....
